Market Development: Pharma/Biotech Cleanrooms

In 2005, Martin Technical Research conducted a study for a German manufacturer of specialty air flow sensors designed for usage in pharmaceutical and biotech cleanrooms.  My company interviewed 70 pharmaceutical/biotech companies in the U.S. to determine the marketplace’s level of interest in the new air flow sensors.

Results:  I provided the client with an overall estimate for the total potential U.S. market opportunity for the air flow sensor, along with a breakdown of the target marketplace’s plans for cleanroom retrofit work vs. new cleanroom construction.
